During Pride month, we honor not only ourselves but also the exemplary individuals in our LGBTQ+ community who are actively working towards positive change. It is admirable to be out and boldly representing our queer identity every day. However, not everyone has the courage and determination to lead and organize a movement, and that’s perfectly acceptable. Yet, it also highlights the vital role that LGBTQ+ activists play in the ongoing fight for equality.
