YouTube star Shane Dawson and his husband Ryland Adams are celebrating the arrival of their twin boys. The proud fathers named their sons Jet Parker Adams Yaw and Max Chandler Adams Yaw, with Yaw being Dawson’s real surname. Sharing the exciting news on Instagram, Dawson posted a series of adorable photos of their family of four.
In the heartfelt caption, Dawson expressed his joy and gratitude, stating that there are no words to describe how it feels to be the fathers of their beautiful boys. Dawson and Adams, who got married in January 2023, announced earlier this summer that they were expecting twins via surrogacy. The couple shared their plans for parenthood on YouTube, disclosing that they had chosen two “optimal” male embryos, one with Dawson’s sperm and the other with Adams’.
“This is the craziest experience of my whole life,” Dawson revealed to his fans at the time. “This is a moment that we’ve been waiting for forever, and I can’t believe it’s happening!”
Since then, the couple has been documenting their surrogacy journey on their YouTube channels, keeping their subscribers updated on every step of the process.
Dawson and Adams have been together since 2016 when Dawson came out as bisexual to his fans. After three years of dating, Dawson proposed to Adams, and they announced their engagement on Twitter.
