Ricky Martin, the Grammy award-winning singer, has once again opened up about his foot fetish during a recent interview on The View. The actor, who recently announced his divorce from husband Jwan Yosef, spoke candidly about his love for feet during the chat show appearance.
Martin, known for hits like “Livin’ La Vida Loca” and “She Bangs,” has previously discussed his foot fetish in February, revealing that he posts pictures of feet for his fans’ enjoyment. This time, he reiterated his affinity for feet, stating, “I love feet,” when asked about his fetish by co-host Joy Behar.
During the interview, Behar mentioned that Martin and the co-hosts are all on WikiFeet, a site that features images of celebrities’ feet. Martin responded by saying, “Mine? I don’t know. I’m a dancer, you know? But some people like mine!”
The Puerto Rican star has been vocal about not feeling ashamed of his preferences in the bedroom. He has expressed that everyone has something they are drawn to, whether it be feet or armpits. Martin emphasized that he loves foot massages and would happily kiss someone’s feet for hours.
In addition to discussing his foot fetish, Martin also touched on his experience coming out as gay in 2010. He recalled a challenging interview with journalist Barbara Walters in 2000, where she pressured him to address his sexuality. Despite Walters later apologizing for her actions, Martin described feeling violated by the invasive line of questioning.
Reflecting on the interview, Martin shared, “That gave permission to every journalist to ask: ‘Are you gay?’ I was like, ‘I don’t want to talk about this. I don’t want people to know.’ I don’t know if it’s internalized homophobia, but it was not my moment.”
Over the years, Martin has been an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and visibility. His openness about his own experiences with sexuality and fetishes has helped break down barriers and promote acceptance within the community.
