Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton has recently made headlines as reports suggest that he has moved on from his short-lived marriage to actor Lukas Gage and is now dating Argentinian art dealer Federico Debernardi. The whirlwind romance between Appleton and Gage began with a lavish wedding ceremony in Las Vegas last April, officiated by none other than Kim Kardashian herself. The couple made quite the entrance in matching fur coats and had country legend Shania Twain perform at their wedding.
However, the fairytale romance took a turn for the worse when Appleton filed for divorce just six months after tying the knot, citing irreconcilable differences. Despite the publicized split, it seems that Appleton has found happiness once again in the arms of Debernardi. According to reports from US Weekly and TMZ, the new couple’s relationship is still in its early stages, with Appleton expressing his contentment with where things are at the moment.
The pair were first spotted together during Oscars weekend at the iconic Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles. Debernardi even shared a series of photos on his Instagram, including one outside the hotel, hinting at their budding romance. Appleton and Debernardi reportedly met through mutual friends about a month ago and are taking things slow and easy for now.
On the other hand, Lukas Gage, known for his roles in “You” and “Road House,” has also been navigating the dating scene. Earlier this year, he revealed his intentions to join a regular dating app like Hinge, rather than an exclusive celebrity platform, in search of genuine connections. Gage made it clear that he was looking for “the real ones,” subtly throwing shade at his ex-husband, Appleton.
Despite rumors suggesting otherwise, Gage clarified that he is not romantically involved with fellow actor Archie Madekwe, insisting that they are just friends. A viral clip showing Gage jokingly referring to Madekwe as his “new husband” sparked speculation about their relationship status. Gage’s busy schedule with upcoming projects like the action film “Road House” and the horror sequel “Smile” may be keeping him occupied and focused on his career at the moment.
With his recent roles in FX’s “Fargo” and the upcoming Netflix comedy-drama “Dead Boy Detectives,” Gage is certainly keeping himself busy in the entertainment industry. As for Appleton and Debernardi, their blossoming romance seems to be off to a promising start, with both parties enjoying each other’s company away from the spotlight. Only time will tell where these new relationships will lead, but for now, it seems like both Appleton and Gage are embracing new beginnings in their personal lives.
